Three Banff Restaurants Make OpenTable Top 100
- Nov 3, 2016
Local foodies will tell you that the finest Banff restaurants have two things in common: Uncompromising, quality ingredients and jaw-dropping panoramic mountain views.
Recently, three Banff restaurants have been named to OpenTable’s list of 100 Best Restaurants for Foodies in Canada 2016.
Not bad for a little mountain town!
EDEN
Boasting a near perfect OpenTable score of 4.7, EDEN has long been recognized as a must-visit dining experience in Banff National Park. One of only a handful of AAA Five Diamond award winning restaurants in the country, EDEN will have you torn between looking at the breathtaking mountain views or the work of art on your plate. EDEN offers French cuisine with regional accents in the form of both a la carte and multi-course tasting menus, all featuring custom wine pairings to enhance the experience.
THREE RAVENS
It’s fitting that an arts institution like Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity would also be home to a restaurant focused on creativity in a plate. Executive Chef Sebastien Tessier delivers locally inspired French dishes, carefully imagined with organic, sustainable ingredients. You won’t find it on the menu, but locals know that part of the experience at Three Ravens is catching some of the world-class arts programming just steps away from your table.
THE JUNIPER BISTRO
The familiar sound of a crackling fire at Juniper Bistro will make you forget that you’re in a restaurant and transport you back to your family cottage. The only difference is that, instead of your typical cottage fare, you’ll be enjoying in-house baked bread and gourmet, handcrafted entrées. Grab a glass of wine, cozy up to the fire and watch the sunset from one of the most scenic dining rooms in The Bow Valley.
