Chateau Mountain Sports is an independent retail and rental store that has three locations at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel and the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. Open 7 days a week, this location offers clothing, footwear and accessories you'll need for many adventures in the mountains of Banff National Park. Featuring great brands such as Spyder, Patagonia, The North Face, Black Diamond, Canada Goose, Dale of Norway, Dakine, Icebreaker, Oakley, Sorel, Salomon, Buff and more. In the summer months, head to this location to rent e-bikes (electric bicycles), mountain bikes, and hybrid bikes for exploring the park’s many trails. During the winter, stop by their Rental Location in the Convention Centre of the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel for a great selection of equipment for winter activities like skiing and snowboarding, skating, hockey, hiking, and snowshoeing as well as fat bikes (bicycles with oversized tires for riding on snow). The rental shop also offers overnight edge-sharpening, waxing, and base-grinding for skis and snowboards.
