Rampart Creek Campground
Rampart Creek Campground in Banff National Park is located 90 kilometres north of the Village of Lake Louise on the beautiful Icefields Parkway. This campground offers a secluded and rustic camping experience 20 minutes from the Columbia Icefields with quick access to the hiking trails along the Icefields Parkway. There are 51 sites of varying sizes and can accommodate tents and RVs up to 35 feet in length. Note that all sites are by reservation via Parks Canada: https://reservation.pc.gc.ca/Banff-IcefieldsParkway%2FRampartCreek%3FMap Important Notices: - Rampart Creek allows both hard and soft-sided units throughout the campground. - Alcohol bans are in place for all Banff, Yoho and Kootenay national park campgrounds for all long weekends from May to September. - Maximum Persons per Site: 6 people (exceptions may be possible for 2 adults with their dependent children to a maximum of 7 people). - Maximum vehicles per Site: Maximum 2 vehicles and 1 tent or 2 tents and one vehicle. All vehicles must fit on driveway. - We do not permit 2 wheeled camping units on the same site - Maximum Camping Units per Site: 2 tents or 1RV/camper. All tents must be on the campsite.
