New Banff Park and Ride Program
From Friday, May 17, to Sunday, October 6, Parks Canada will once again pilot a park-and-ride opportunity. Daily, between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., visitors are encouraged to leave their vehicle at the park-and-ride and visit the town of Banff car-free by taking Roam Public Transit. Visitors should take Roam Route 6 Banffbound.
Roam Transit Route 6 will stop at Park & Ride, located on Lake Minnewanka Scenic Drive, as part of the regular route operations that connect to the heart of downtown Banff. Departures from Park and Ride will be free and fares apply for all other rides.
Free visitor parking is also available at the Train Station Public Parking Lot. Visitors can access this lot by taking the Norquay Road exit into town, but the parking lot is usually full before 12 p.m. in summer months.
